In partnership with the Vienna-based Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), and the Energy Commission (EC) of Ghana, The Energy Centre (TEC) has organised a three-day residential Training Workshop for journalists in Ghana.
The training took place from 27 – 29 March 2014 in Accra.
The training is part of the project titled “Building a reliable energy access database to promote sustainable energy expansion in Ghana”.
The Energy Center in collaboration with ANSOLE is organizing a conference on Renewable Energy. ANSOLE is the African Network of Solar Energy (for more information, follow the link: http://www.ansole.org/).
The conference will take place from 25th to 26th April 2014 at The Energy Center, KNUST.
The Energy Center (TEC) and Sutron Corporationof USA have completed the installation of an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) at Walewale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The installation was funded by a research grant from the African Union for a project titled "Potential of distributed grid-connected solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems in rural electrification in Africa".
